I'm still here!

Gosh! Has it really been almost 2 months since I posted last? Ewwww.... way too long, huh? Like my friend Greg asked me, "Do you know what blogging means?" (ha ha ha) As you probably know (or don't know), I am teaching at a new school. I am now a Franklin Central High School Flash! While I miss Waldron High School terribly, I had to leave because that school is financially in the hole (so to speak), and hands down, FCHS is a much closer drive... only 10 minutes compared to 30 minutes? So, if you are a student at WHS and you are reading this, I hope you don't take my "leave" personally. It was NOT you (as a student body) as to why I left. It's just me out here.... supporting me... and I have to take of me.

In any case, I want to share a photo with you. Recently, a former National Honor Society member e-mailed me asking for past photos. And, as I looked through them, this one in particular is special to me. Why? When I look at all of us... so professional... so handsome (yes, ladies too can look handsome)... I am so proud. These kids you see here are the best of the best. They are mature. They care about not only themselves (and their appearance), but they care about others. But most importantly, they took to heart the characteristics of what being an NHS member means. And that... makes me proud of them. Awww... I miss Waldron. lol.

Okay... that's it for now. I will try to post a little more frequently. Feel free to posts comments because I just love hearing from you! Take care!

King's Island: A trip for the young

Last Monday, the soon-to-be-seniors of National Honor Society and I went to King's Island for the day. While the lines were long, the weather was beautiful! I can't speak for the others, but I had a great time. I must say, though, after riding the Son of Beast... my body felt the effects long after. yikes. And...I only hope they're not too upset with me after I told them that I wouldn't be returning to WHS next year. I'll miss working with them because they are a great group of young people.

Digging for gold

Another favorite thing that I love to do is dig. I tried digging the carpet, but Mommy really doesn't like it when I do that. However, she does let me dig into this yellow blanket. In this photo, she caught me digging and digging and digging...for about a half hour. What can I say? I am just a silly little Pug.

The 3 Amigos

After my teacher friend, Karla, retired a couple years ago, we (both myself and Jackie) haven't seen much of her after she and her husband Morrie moved to Arizona. Thus, I count these pictures as rare treats...to have all three of us together. In this picture, we are having a good time at Jackie's daughter's wedding.

Sunday morning ritual

One of my favorite things to do (#5 on my list of favs) is when Mommy gives me a kong filled with peanut butter. I think she gives it to me because she loves me soooooo much (that, and she reads the newspaper and drinks coffee while I keep busy).

Tater's Favorite Things

Tater has a few favorite things that she'd like to share with you. I (Tater) love to...

10. cuddle close to Mommy under a blanket
9. eat leaves and twigs when Mommy takes me out to potty. I especially like goofing around outside when it's bitter cold.
8. play with my plush toys and to play catch with Mommy
7. eat turkey and chicken when Mommy gives me a few pieces
6. go bye-bye with Mommy especially when she goes to Starbucks (because I usually get a puppy cup of whipped cream)
5. lick peanut butter from a kong that Mommy gives to me on Sunday mornings
4. visit Grandpa and Grandma because they give me treats that Mommy doesn't have and they just love on me the entire time I'm at their house
3. play with Isabel because she's little like I am
2. go for walks with Mommy so I can eat more leaves and twigs
1. be close to Mommy all the time especially while she is on the couch.....I just love sitting on her lap licking her face and clamouring for her attention. :-)

Christmas Day

I was so inspired by my brother's new woodworking blog and my friend's blog about her two boys, I thought...hey! I'll make a blog for Tater! So...ChristmasDaisy is no more...sorry. It's a new year! In this picture, we are enjoying Christmas morning by opening presents. And, as always, Tater was taking it all in! Somehow, she got in the shot...ha, ha, ha! As you can probably see, I'm not exaggerating when I say Tater is full of personality! I love her to pieces!

Well...until the next adventure...see you again soon!
